Peer Review Process

Initial Checks

All submitted manuscripts will be checked to determine whether they follow the journal guidelines, ethical policies, and plagiarism. Improperly prepared manuscripts will be returned to the authors for changes and resubmission.

Assignment of Reviewers

The editor-in-chief will determine the manuscript's compliance with the journal's scope and the significant contribution it will make to the scientific community. The Associate Editors will assign passed manuscripts from the initial checks to at least two independent experts for peer review, which will last two to four weeks. Two prominent scholars in the field of the submitted article are asked blindly to evaluate the scientific content of the article and its significance in the field. The final judge may need the involvement of an adjudicator.

Editorial Intern Decision

Based on feedback and comments from the peer reviewers, the editor-in-chief will make the judgment to accept, ask for revision, or reject the manuscript in consultation with the associate editor handling the review process. For Minor Revision, the authors will have to resubmit the precisely revised manuscript within two weeks (The maximum time is one month, after which the manuscript will be withdrawn). For Major Revisions, authors will have one month (The maximum time is two months; after that, the manuscript will be withdrawn). Response to reviewers' comments should be in a point-by-point fashion. Also, a highlighted manuscript must be submitted alongside your response to the reviews' comments. Authors may contact the Editor-in-Chief for extra time when necessary.

Editorial Final Decision

The editor-in-chief will check the authors' responses to the reviewers' recommendations to comply with the guidelines and determine the final decision.

Publication Process

Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo professional editing, language revision, and pagination. Within 48 hours, the galley proof will be sent to the authors for final revision, after which the approved manuscripts will be published online on the journal website.
